Happy Hour - Open Invitation
For the last few weeks, we've been having a Happy Hour in the Lobby. It starts about 4 East Coast time and runs till when ever. It started off with just Myself and MnJTX and we quicly added:

I apologize to whomever I may have forgotten. I know it doesnt work for everybody's schedule, but its alot of fun and a great way to maybe meet some new people. So try and drop in to see us! But be fair warned, its strictly BYOB!
And an RSVP wouldnt hurt either. (I want to make sure theres enough bar stools)

Everyone should join, this happy hour business reminds me the old days on the site for me. So many people chatting and obviously as you can see from above Stars poetry evenings are a huge hit too

All though...the text size in there is horrible, I have to put my face near the screen and close one eye (my eyes have always been pitiful, really pitiful)
A long long time ago, when we had different chat server/software, we had the option of enlarging the text size, wow...I miss that.

Managed to swing by last night and met even more new people to chat too. Loving happy hour, the company is great, there is always a spare stool to perch on - but Free is a little slow serving the drinks!

I wasnt expecting coffee and tea to be requested. Those things take time to brew. Its not as quick as pouring a Crown on the rocks or popping the cap off of a beer. And the way you guys were tipping, you should be grateful to have been served at all!

Oh, a 'jigger' here is a measurment of liquor, it's a shot and a half, but I think I so like ya'alls definition of getting jiggered much better,
Does jigger mean something different over there?

Had a quick look and it means the same, although I have just never stumbled across it. Mainly used for cocktails and I have only ever ordered them and not made them.
Will have to get back to you on what exactly jiggered means to me when Star or Free demonstrate it later
