Anybody have solar power,water heating,air heat,wind power, geothermal. I would like to hear about and tell benefits and downfalls of these.

I would love to hear all about it too....a few of the farms nearby have some of those very tall sleek looking windmills.

Have moderate solar, the rest depends on where ya live. The start up cost is terrible. You have to weigh the cost against the power you are bill you are getting at the previous time. If your in a outlaying area it may be worth it..the rate increase coming at the end of the year is around 30%. The utility companies are being taxed big time starting next year, passing on the costs to you..The ball is in your court..

I do know that IF you get a wind powered electrical generator, you can sell the leftovers to the local utility.
Not sure how well that'd work with solar.

cant beleive all the windmills they got up in southeastern wisconsin, they are just poping up all over, and no shortage of seagulls eather for them to complain about going though the blades
