Impossible to get married
I have always felt it should be almost impossible to get married and very simple and easy to get a divorce. It is ass backwards to me.

I couldn't agree more. I have gone through 2 divorces with both being long term marriages. I have given away 2 houses, 2 cars, almost $250,000 in alimony payments, as well as lawyer fees, and court costs. No more marriages for me. I am done!!! I am going to find me a cutie and tie myself to her emotionally and live the rest of my life stress free...And yes I am starting all over again, but with a different view on life and marriage.

I agree too, Goody....I think too many people go into a marriage with the attitude of "Oh well, if it doesn't work I can always get a divorce"
Totally not what marriage is...

indeed, I've told the kid if ya cant live together ya cant live together and be married... the state of ill on the other hand seems to have a revolving door on that problem, both Friends and relatives are marred one week and divorced the next. Wisconsin makes ya go though all kinds of consoling either way ya go

We could also have a contract good for 5 years. If you don't want to renew after that..tear that sucker up!!

as bad as it is to get married and divorced? what about the idiots that marry, divorce, and RE-MARRY the same person???
my friends cousin married the same guy FOUR times....and got divorced five...after the second time, my friend stopped getting wedding gifts for them...i mean how many toasters can a person buy for the bride and groom??

I had a friend at work that got divorced and would not buy/sell the other half of the house from there mate after they got divorced so they stayed living together and still do. now that is just crazy.
