Re: 9/11
How could anyone that lived through it forget? Living here and losing friends and remembering what that day and months to follow were like, I know it will permanently be burned into my memory as one of the hardest days in my life. I still haven't gone down there to the actual spot. It just makes me cry and gets me angry as hell. The after effects are almost worse than the day. Those terrorists have changed so much about how we live our lives it bothers me that they won even that much from us!The frustrating thing is I can't do anything to change it. I am a problem solver without a solution for this problem!

I am aware its not about me and feeling for the families that lost love ones and how lucky I was to have all my family safe although I did lose friends I wish I could take their pain away.

I NEVER forget and I never will. So much of this country has forgotten that day and its effects.

God Bless our Firefighters, Police officers, Military men and Women and our leaders (no matter their political affiliation and whether we voted for them or not).

Thank you for all you do to to keep it over there and not over here.

**This is my OPINION and not meant to upset, piss off or insult anyone. Please remember this is about our country as a whole, not one group over another.**

One thing a nation can do is honour its veterans. As a result of 9/11 thousands were to serve in countries as Afghanistan. Many were killed, many hurt (body or mind). Welcome them back as heroes. Make them feel at home again.

The traumatic images, and the stories of heroism will not fade over time.

Re: 9/11
I just finished writing another song about this called Never Forget. It came as a result of one day, I was playing with some guys and played Heroes To Angels, which I wrote about all of the first responders who lost their lives that day. My one buddy looked at me and said "You dont still feel that way, do you?" to which I immediately responded "HELL YES!" He just kinda snickered and said it was a one time thing. Well, I know better than to get into those kinds of conversations. To me, 1 time, even 1 life is too many.
