I wonder too, some of them are online frequently since this site opened, but they've never or rarely ever responded to anyone who has tried to reach out to them.

It would appear that if you don't use the "Logout" button at the top right of the menu bar and simply close down your browser (most people's default behaviour I guess), then the system continues to think you are online until your session expires - haven't tested this but probably about an hour.
Therefore almost all of the people on the last few pages of the "Who's Online Now" listing (which is ordered by most recent activity) are not actually online anymore.

fems are out numbered greatly on sites like this. I dont envy trying to keep up with the amount of messges and emails

For starts,,you are a fine looking women and you probably recieve tons more messages than I do.There are many more men than women on the site.You should eventually catch up and find the most common ones that you like and continue conversation with them.

My best advice for that, first reply to those who are NOT CURRENTLY ONLINE. Then you won't be trying to catch up with your mail, and having a ton of replies to your replies pouring in at the same time. Do the ones that are not online first. It helps keep the volume down and managable.

I try to answer everyone at least once.When I first came on here it was out of control. Once I did a more extensive profile and started getting involved in forums and chat people got to know me. Although I still got a lot I noticed it did slow down to a more reasonable amount as people that were more closely matched to me were contacting me. Those who realized I didn't have anything in common with them found someone more to their own interest.There are a few that just contact anyone female and do it over and over. Maybe thinking that, throw out as many as you come and see how many comes back.I have decided I just can't answer everyone that does that. I will do it once or twice then I give up.Have fun and don't stress. Most people on here know that if your female on here you will be overwhelmed with contacts.

Guys are gonna hate me for adding this part, but you guys have got to understand that the advice helps keep women around here, and that is important...very important.
Yep, some guys just cruise the "who's online" list and hit up every women repeatedly. With the volume of mail women have to deal with, it's just frustrating and discouraging to them to have all this mail from guys who don't even bother to read their profile, and are just hitting them up because they happen to be online.
So women, if you need to excerise some control... go to your account, "my preferences" and then to "visibily and privacy" settings. There you can click "No" to having others see my profile....this just means that you won't show up on the "who's online" list, you will still be visible in the chatrooms, and in the forums, but will definitly cut back on the constant flow of "I'm online and I'm hard and get me off now" type of messages. You can enter your preferences and turn this feature off and on anytime you want.

Another added note for CuriousViv and any woman wanting to use the chatrooms. It's a common and rude mistake that men make there, to instantly pummel you relentlessy with Instant private messages.
I strongly recommend that as soon as you (women) enter the chatroom, ignore the immediate IMs, e go straight to "settings" and turn off the private instant messages, this way you can mingle with the entire room and kinda get to know the people in there, you can change the settings back just as easily.
Otherwise, you will be so overwhelmed with private IMs, you won't have an enjoyable socializing experience.
I know. some guys are gonna hate me for that advice too. But on an adult site, women must have features to give them as much control as possible.

I've found that the guys who wont move to the big chat room to chat, aren't into making friends, well, at least with me, they aren't. lol There are a lot of nice guys on here though.
The control features are great. But if I had used the pm block, I would have missed out on talking to some sweet guys who were just a touch shy at first contact.
All the aggravation is worth it, for the good ones.

The instant messaging feature can be easily turned off and on. For most women, especially in the red room, turning it off as soon as you enter the room will be a good move.
After you've relaxed, chatted and mingled for a bit, you can turn it back on with just a click.

I use my phone at times as well and have asked if they are going to support the mobile browsers. As of yet they have no plans from what they tell me. I hope as more people request it they might put more thought into it. As far as the chat rooms . They can be fun but you can still use the forums and emails to meet people and get to know them a bit. Eventually maybe call each other if there is enough of an interest.
I wish you all the luck I had. If you get it you will be a very happy man.
