Not looking for a brain surgeon maybe an OB-GYN !
OK, I figure with all the people on here maybe I can get this answered. There has to be some one on here that has real knowledge of this. I have always gotten nauseous after an orgasm. Sometimes worse than others and usually only lasts a few minutes. Sometimes I will get dizzy as well but mot always (Although I don't get up to fast so maybe more than I know.)I have many "theories" from myself as well as others as to why. I have heard adrenaline, dehydrated, hyperventilated, low blood pressure, etc.... Does anyone else get this? And does anyone know the real reason?

Re: Not looking for a brain surgeon maybe an OB-GYN !
Yeah I heard blood pressure too (Thats on my list). I have also read allergies to seaman but have read enough to know thats way off base especially because I don't have to have sex to get that way its whenever I orgasm so It could be from masturbation as well and last I checked I don't get seaman from that (UNLESS MY FINGERS AND TOYS HAVE SOMETHING I DON'T KNOW ABOUT). I have even read where one women said said she gets it too and her idiot doctor said its feeling guilty for having an orgasm. I would find a new doctor if any doctor said anything that stupid to me.

You have to learn to quit holding things in and just say whats on your mind. Youre gonna get an ulcer if you dont

Re: Not looking for a brain surgeon maybe an OB-GYN !
A Professor was giving a lecture on "Involuntary Muscular Contractions" to his first year medical students. Realizing that this was not the most riveting subject, the Professor decided to lighten the mood slightly. He pointed to a young woman in the front row and said, "Do you know what your asshole is doing while you're having an orgasm?"
She replied, "Probably deer hunting with his buddies."

La petite mort
"The small death" or "the little death"
Some women pass out cold during or right after orgasm.
It's a thing with the blood pressure.
If it's something you've always experienced, that's one thing, but if it's something recent then probably not a bad idea to ask your Gyno on your next visit.

Re: Not looking for a brain surgeon maybe an OB-GYN !
Thanks Chazzy I Have always had this. I do have low blood pressure but Not dangerously low Normally the doctors says more like an athlete. I have had issues from time to time of it dropping. I usually think of something that pisses me off like my ex husband and it goes right up. (TRUE STORY)Had to take a test once at the doctor and they said my blood pressure was to low. I said give me one minute. I closed my eyes though about how much money my ex owed me in child support and then had then check again. The Nurse cracked up She asked how I did that . I told her and she was dieing. She said she has seen people close there eye and relax to try to lower their blood pressure but NEVER the other way around.
I just don't know it that's really the reason for this issue.

Hun, I got dizzy for a while after orgasms. Found out I was anemic. Have you had your iron levels checked?
Good luck.

I use to worry about what people would think of my thoughts too.
Just relax and say what ya think. Remember, it's more HOW ya say somethin' than WHAT ya say.

I just realized you might have been referring to my earlier post to Free. I was being sarcastic. I am not shy AT ALL. Nor do I worry about what people think. Thank you for the advice though. lol

Re: Not looking for a brain surgeon maybe an OB-GYN !
Pressure on the carotids can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure that resolves itself almost immediately once the pressure is released. Bearing down, tightening up or holding your breath can cause carotid pressure. Some practices in auto-eroticism will do it, but it's also used as a medical procedure when someone's heart rate or blood pressure is high and you're trying to get it down without the use of drugs. Look up "vagal maneuver" on-line, it will explain it much better than I can.
