Babbling
100%...if you're giving something a 100% of your effort, is that your full complete "can't give anymore" effort? If you're 100% sure of something, does that mean you are completely sure?
Is being 100% sure the same as 110% percent sure? Is it ever necessary to say your 600% or 1000% sure because 100% is still saying you're totally and completely sure?

Re: Babbling
If your 1000% sure, isn't that 10 times more sure of being 100% sure?????

Re: Babbling
I dunno....cuz like if your downloading something, and the pop up says 100% download complete, then there's no more at all to download.
If you fill a container to 100% capacity, then it will hold no more....

Re: Babbling
Technically both containers are 100% full. You have 200% more material than if you had 1 container.

I'm at least 10,000% sure that this is feasible.
Perhaps Mythbusters can answer it better?

Re: Babbling
Why is it that if you teach something, you taught , but if you preach something, you preached?
And why does taught rhyme with thought or brought?
And why doesn't though rhyme through or thought?
Why can you do something once, twice or thrice, but any thing above that is (insert any other number here) times?
Why if you eat, you've eaten, but if you drink, you (not "you've" drank?
If you speak, you've spoken, but if you talk, you talked?
If you drive, you've driven, but if you ride, you rode? And if you walk, you walked?
I need a nap

Re: Babbling
and when you wake up, you'll have napped?
or woken, or awakened?
why is it that when someone needs to urinate/defecate...they generally say "i need to take a shit, or i need to take a leak", where are they taking it? wouldn't they actually be leaving it?

Ok, we have crate, date, fate, gate, hate, Kate, late, mate, Nate, plate, rate, sate, and Tate.
We also have bait, gait and wait. And then, there's straight.
So where the hell did weight and freight come from?
And if we have cost, and lost, shouldn't tossed be tost? And why do we say most?
To, two, too?
There, their, they're?
Wear, where, ware?
I'm going to sit for a spell to learn how to spell. The mind is a terrible thing.

If people from Poland are called Poles, why aren't people from Holland called Holes?
Do infants enjoy infancy as much as adults enjoy adultery?
If horrific means to make horrible, does terrific mean to Make terrible?

I just threw my thesaurus and dictionary in the fireplace. Neither flew. Both went up in flames and the smoke went up the flue.
I spoke to a moronic customer at work and I went up in flames.

People from Holland are called Dutch, and you need a Dutch Cap before you're allowed into their holes...

How sad that I see nothing wrong with that until someone tells me? And yet still spelled better than if I wrote it. OMG I think I need a support group.
