Shark Week
Well, it's that time on Discovery channel. They ask the question of how best to avoid a shark attack.
Wouldn't that be to not go where they are?

Re: Shark Week
Don't you think the design of wet suits and diving/scubs suits make humans look like seals, a shark's favorite prey?
You think they could work on that...

That's true. I'm not sure how well changing the color of a wet suit would help. They could perhaps incorporate or use a more protective material.
It seems most sharks tend to bump and/or bite to "see" what is there. Most of these attacks happen in murky or unclear water. So, not only humans cann't see well, neither can the sharks.
Ya have to remember. Some of these sharks are protecting thier territory. Not much different than a stranger walking into your house without an invite.

The metal, chain type suits have been around for awhile. An
issue with the suit is the pressure on your arm, can cause nerve damage.

They covered that on "Dirty Jobs" They use a cloth type material underneath the chain type stuff.
