Annoyances
I've only done this topic once before quite a long time ago.
With all the defining of what a stupid and/or an annoying person is lately along with all the things people do to annoy or piss us off. I wanted to try this again, to see if we get similar results and replies.
So...okay....
List all and any things about yourself that others find really annoying.

i hate when ppl use the farmers hanky, u know, plug one nostril & shoot a snot rocket out the other... or when they stand next to u & fart, like its their hobby to share the smell with anyone in a 20 yard radius

[/q] Those traits in a person really irritate us also. Especially if it's a partner in a long devoted relationship. I'll tell you another character flaw more and more frequently appearing in society. A total lack of personal accountability. Not to mention the appalling decline in personal work ethic. Noone wants to be the one in the spotlight when everything goes wrong, so they slow play and fall behind. This way they're not close enough to catch any negative attention. In doing so, luckily, they have less oppurtunity to achieve

If I'm reading this correctly. We are to list the thing about OURSELVES that annoy other people!!!!
I tend to point things out to people when I think they are not listening and just want to give the answer before they understand the question. Example when you call tech support and someone tells you to do something like change a password or some other thing that has nothing to do with why you called, but they insist that will be the fix before they even understand the problem. OR WHEN PEOPLE WRITE WHAT THEY GET ANNOYED ABOUT IN OTHER PEOPLE INSTEAD OF WHAT THEY DO THAT ANNOYS OTHERS.(THAT WAS THE POSTED QUESTION!)
Another thing I tend to do that annoys others: I can be sarcastic at times.

Here's the thing, you can try this anywhere and the results will be similar. Ask people what annoys them, then ask what about them is annoying.
People can easily recognize annoying/faulty behavior in others, but it's seems difficult to see it in ourselves.
It's just something in our nature. We can go on for pages, and even build ourselves up into frothy rants about so many things that others do, but when we need to list our own faults, we can't think of that many, or we have to add the "but" and then we justify, rationalize, even glorify our faults.
I wonder about things, like when there's no traffic at all behind me, and the only other car has to make a risky move to pull out in front of me. I do wonder, why?
If everyone finds this such a very annoying act, then who's doing it? What justification is in their mind at the time to do something that certainly would piss them off if done to them? It doesn't anger me as much as it puzzles me.
Humans are really weird, I do kinda like that about us though.
