Tried it....hated it....
I was just cleaning the bathroom and while putting away the clean towels I noticed some products sitting around on shelves...stuff I tried and hated....mostly hair products.
I'm not fickle about my hair products, I trust some brand names more than others, I have a few "must have" things like the spritzy stuff that makes hair shiny, detangler, a certain brand and type of conditoner, but sometimes if they are out of stock, or just because I think there just might be something better, I buy something new...
Rarely works out for me.
I hate the product, maybe it does more harm than good, maybe it's just inferior.
I hate to just try it, hate it, throw it away. If it's not an expensive product, it's really not worth the hassle to find a box,pack the remainder with the cash register reciept, and make a trip into the post office to return it for a full refund.
If it's crappy and inferior, then I'm sure no one else would want it, so I don't give it away, yet...it gathers dust and takes up space, a nearly full container of stuff I know I will never use. It seems a shame to just throw it away.
I do throw it away, but only after I tire of it sitting on my shelf, along with others, just mocking me....

Most shampoo, body wash and so on have the same main ingredient. [amonium laurel sulfate] just mix 'em together and wash the car.

Arggghhh! I do just hate though, when I finally find the perfect products for me, hair conditioner, great shade of lipstick, etc....and they quit carrying it locally, or quit making it.
Then it's trial and error till I find a suitable replacement. Samples seemed a good idea, but anyone who's worked in manufacturing knows, samples sometimes are a "special" batch and what you buy in larger quanities off the stocked shelf may not be quite as good.

indeed wash the car or do the wash with the stuff. we take that kind of stuff camping then ya can slop it around and spill it and when is most used up ya can leave in the shower house for some one else to take or use

Very good suggestions.
I also end up keeping a few too many containers around that have a some product left but I can't get the remainder out unless I cut the dam thing open...

we picked up some herbal essence stuff once , think it was pearl beads or something stuff wouldn't even lather up

I'll ask friends and see if anyone likes the product, if so I give it to them.
Otherwise, I suck up and use it anyway :x
