prayer of the woods
we were hiking along some place an deep in the woods we came acrooss this sign called"the prayer of the woods"but being a few years now cant remember were it was....we tok a piture and hung it in the bathroom.

i am the heat of your hearth on cold winternights,the freindly shade screening you from the summer sun,and my fruits are refreshing draughts quenching your thirst asd you journey on.
i am the beam that holds your house,the board that holds your table,the bed in which you lie,and the timber thatbuilds yor boat, the handle of your hoe,the door of your homestead,the wood of your cradle,and the shell of your coffin.
i am the bread of kindness and the flower of beauty. ye who pass by,listen to my prayer: "harm me not"

awesome, i love it, they shud put that in every national forest, & any rainforest thats almost depleted

i think it could of been in the up of Michigan, by Paradise, north of Sue Ste Marie, due the black out a few years back
