Ah, OK. The people who post most often are those pathetically pleading for NSA sex in their area - maybe unf can set some counters up so we can see how many posts everybody does...

I truly feel like a dummy when it comes to these abbreviations but can you please tell me what NSA sex is.I am not one to post such requests but am curious,since every one uses them. But yes I agree it is sad to do this,I have had no action at all in some time,but will not resort to begging.

I have to agree with you, those things are actually embarrassing. Anybody (typically men) thinking that posting an ad on here is going to get them laid instantly might better think about going and paying for it. As usual Chazzy, you hit the nail on the head. What the hell are they thinkin?

Sadly, from what I noticed, the most common person posting a thread like that is the type of person that deletes their profile soon after because the site 'isn't working'. But that's ok, if all they really care about is sex, they're not exactly going to be the person you want to meet for sex anyways.

I've tried to be lenient when possible with the "looking for in my area" types of posts, I don't want to discourage anyone new right off the bat, so we've tried to move these posts when possible to the Introductions or Profile reviews forums, when we can't do that, then we delete.
But...it's just gotten so bad the past few months with the LBGT and Fetish forums turning into a bulletin board of these same ole posts.
I know some think that "this is what a site like this is for" but that's not what the forums are for.
I'm responsible, I'll readily admit I'm the one that a long time ago when I was here moderating the forums by myself and took the more lenient stance when it wasn't so much of a problem, but as I said before, it's just getting to be too much and affecting every forum, so...gotta change things a bit.

yea i can c anti-social being here (still no excuse to be posting in the area threads) but yea go to the mall or speed dating cafe or something. i actuly been considering looking for a speed dating cafe thing is my area aint that umm....safe lol (srry for going off topic lol but yea im with u. or they could get a month of the vip service and try it out if they looking that badly

Internet is great for allot of people in allot of situations. I live in a rural area and it's great for me to keep my socializing nature alive.
I doubt very much if anyone would want to keep their free membership here, let alone spring for a VIP if the forums were nothing but " Looking for women in Sacremento" ...."Seeking NSA in Topeka" .... "Any horny women here from Tinypinpointonalargenationalmap USA?"
The thing is, most people I know from here who have hooked up, or met in real life, weren't living in the same area at all, no where near each other, but the opportunity came about, they happened to need to travel, or have gotten to know someone they were willing to travel to see.

Chazzy, Im sure you remember (I'm not naming names) that couple that was on a few months ago from Atlanta. Their "quest" to meet other people was almost droning. Post after post after post. I'm pretty sure it was mostly her, but DAMN, it was pathetic!

Oh yeah, I remember....and they are a big part of my running low on patience about the personal ad types of posts.
I don't mind if a noob wanders in and posts once in General Discussion and I move it to intro...but the same people posting the same thing in every forum all the freakin' time...
It's a shame too, cuz with a little effort, they could easily re-word thier posts to be more topic like and get far more attention than the pathetic begging for "immediate NSA sex in my area" post.

I guess some people have trouble translating the rules to apply to them, or just feel that the rules don't apply to them.

on forums i admin and game i was appointed jr leader (like a guild mod) if it happens to much we'd temporary ban them so maybe if this persist warnings and banning?

If we warn, the warning(s)are ignored and it continues, we delete the account.
Most often, it's just a noob, usually a guy,who's just in too big a hurry to read any notices or rules.

When I started the site,, I was one of those guys in a big hurry to get some action,but came to relize shortly that,this is not all that this site is about,but I see how many think that way,,so yes once or twice of the same ones posting these things is ok,,but after that they should see it is not the way to go about it.
