Re: favorite summer activity
Huge yard, I could use the help, Carl!
I love spending the hottest part of the day down at the cold creek, at the slab (the slab is the concrete part of the road so cars can cross.)
There's bluffs on one side, gravel beach on the other, lots of wild fruit and berries, wildlife and wildflowers.
Ya pack up a cooler, some folding lawn chairs to sit chest high in the rushing cold water or just hike around. Build a fire and roast a few Hot Dogs when ya get peckish.
Still haven't found a Paw Paw tree yet.
Yeah, I'm such a hillbilly...

Re: favorite summer activity
we like to get the king size air mat out on the lake and play king of the raft or just go flooting on the lake and enjoy the motion of the ocean. it also a good way to find the leak in it

Re: favorite summer activity
Ash's description is good for the Paw Paw, around here they grow near rivers and creeks but they're very rare and hard to find...which makes hunting for them fun, cuz they are real, but kind of a legend, You're not apt to find one.
