Re: Long hair
I'm not female, but I wear my hair a bit on the longer side too. I've tried it short, and tht look just doesnt work for me.

Re: Long hair
Kinda depends ya know....I'll be straight up and frankly honest here.
Lately, longer hair on men has been a sign of being a bit outdated, it may look good on you, but still might make you look a little older and dated. But...what area you live in, what circles you socialize in, if you hair style correctly represents your life style, should all be considerations too.
A short layered highlighted hair cut on a biker might no look right or work well. You know what I mean.
If you've had the same long hair style since highschool, what the hell, it's hair, it grows back quick maybe why not consider something newer and updated (especially if you are actively dating around)
Personally, I wouldn't throw a good man away because of his hair style choices, I understand why you choose to keep the long hair and if it's clean, soft, healthy, well kept, I think it looks good.

Re: Long hair
I only dated one guy who's hair was really long. He was from Israel and often wore it in a ponytail. I remember it was thick and nice and never an issue between us. It's not why we were dating, but it was a part of who he was. He was self-employed, so again, no issue. I wouldn't ask think of asking him or anyone to change.

Re: Long hair
my hairs long nowadays i have to tie it up to ride on the bike, afterwords its a pain in the but to comb out. i use to be blond when i was a kid, then it went brown now its gray, not even gray more like white, which i dislike. but then someone i worked with once told me gray is better then bald, guess i cant argue that point. being north of the 45Th.i tend to keep it longer along with my beard, the kids look at me funny at times of the year....hohoho....but it does keep me warm out on the ice when im ice fishing

Re: Long hair
well im a hair dresser & i get to see all kinds so i think its a personal choose. as long as u keep it clean & healthy looking then its all good but u should never let anyone tell u how u should where it a certain way, that goes for women to . if they do then they need to wash it & fix it everyday . but i do agree u should at least try new things , u never no if ur going to like it until u try it . hey if not if will always grow back out.

Re: Long hair
I have to be brutally honest. That's just the way I am. I know you don't know me and I've never seen you. BUT CUT THE MULLET!!! I'm sorry I don't say it to hurt you in any way. I have dated many musicians and many had long hair I happen to love long hair on many men. LONG HAIR AND MULLETS ARE TWO DIFFERENT ANIMALS. I know most people wouldn't say this because they are always worried about hurting someones feelings. I look at it differently. You asked so I assume you want an honest answer. Most women (AND MEN) laugh at people with mullets. That's not the reason I say cut it. You will find that you look better and people take you much more seriously when you look appropriate. Mullets just are to out of date. I modeled hair cuts for many years and even back in the 80s they were really done for the most part. I don't know what you do for a living or if you have kids but people are talking about your hair at work or among your and your kids friends I PROMISE YOU! I know we say we shouldn't care what people say or think of us but lets get real. Most people do judge you based on your appearance . In many cases that's all people have to go by until they get to know you. You can always grow your hair long again and have a more up to date and flattering long hair style. Mullets are NOT FLATTERING ON ANYONE! As an added incentive people that are considered to be well groomed and attractive tend to also make more money, get more and better jobs and promoted more often.
