plans for the holiday
now the memnorial day is almost here what is every one planing on doing? we are thinking on camping and fishing hiking and all that good stuff

I'll be going down south to the hills where the family cemetary is to honor all.
It's so beautiful there, and we always make sure we visit the oldest headstones section. There are over forty unmarked civil war soldiers there too.
The extended family will all be there, and there's kind of a family meeting, and of course allot of food in the pavilion.
I use to think it was quite odd to have a kind of party at the cemetary, but it all makes sense now...it's how we all get together and our history is told and preserved, stories from the elders passed down to us.

sounds like a good opportunity,i use to maintain the Church graveyard, cut grass, trim weeds.we like to explore them too.

I'm hosting an open mic night tonight. Other than that, mowing the lawn, washing the cars and cleaning the garage. No other real plans but then again, spontaneous things can be the best.

I am off and will be home all day, after my doctor's appointment - hmmmmm, "Plus" will be at work from 9-6! What can a naughty girl do, home alone? Any suggestions? Lol!

we pitched the tent last friday, a freind told me it was gone by monday,he took his camper up and we got there tuesday morning with our camper and we get to our spot and some elses campers in our spot and the tent is gone.just burns me im out 90 bucks for the pup tent that goes on the harley.....
and os babe is sure you will find something to do....

that's how i got the ivy on me, we were parked in a over flow parking spot. it was OK for camping and it got up to 86, glad we were in shade and a nice breeze though the trees. we went back home to shower and feed the cats and rode the bike back. Saturday the Lyons club and park had their chicken cook out and all the fixins it was good.the northwoods riders were having a ride or benefit , they had a very good turn out but some poor guy wiped out going down 102 back to tomahawk along little spirit lake its a scenic route along the shore, the road about 20 feet above the lake , if ya miss a corner on one side your in with the fishes,the other side your in the embankment , guess he was found in a small ditch along the bank and laid there for 3 or 4 hours refusing help, dont know if he was drunk or doped up or both.... my rule always been no booze when on the the ride....but we went up that way was kinda looking for my pup tent and went to look at a 36 ford truck a rat rod they called it . on a chevy frame and a 350 chevy motor to push the thing ....she need paint was painted over rust lol
