Do you like your birth name?
My mother asked me this for the first time recently, she asked me if I liked the birth name she and my father gave me.
Actually I do like my name, when I was in school there was always allot of "Which Debbie?" or "Which Karen?" but I was the only one with my name. At first I was self conscious about it, I was shy and any way I could blend in was good for me, but after time...I came to like the name my parents gave me.
Do you like your birth name? Is your middle name a name you'd rather people not know about or maybe you prefer to go by your middle name cuz you don't like your first name or even have adopted an abreviation or nick name?

I'm fine with my name. My middle name came from my dad's middle name, it now has passed to the 4th generation.

Im the same as you. There were alot of Ricks, Mikes, Bobs and Jims in school, but I was the only Dalyrimple.

i dont care for my first name charles and go by a nickname. being i was the 4th and my son is the 5th,i think he uses the nick too, even though we both have middle names also.......

No, i didn't like my name when i was at school. No-one had the same name as me until i went to high school, then another girl in my year had the same name, we became good friends.
I got used to it, and don't mind it so much now.
It's still pretty unusual don't hear that many people called it.

I like my name, it is not terribly common. I was named after someone specific. My name can be shortened and it is funny because everyone calls me by my first abrev. name and last name together. There is no one else with my name so I don't understand why they combine the two, but the do. My middle name is Ilo and this was my Grandmother's middle name and pretty uncommon. My last name can be used as a first or last name and is fairly popular.

And, so my first name and last name together looks like "Belia" which is the middle name of a good friend of mine. It just cracks me up!!

dont mind it its very common but never get called by my real name anyway been known as MONTY since i was five call out my real name i probably wouldnt even turn around

dont really like my name it just plain , but its better than the one i had in school they just called me tits because i was more developed then the other girls . so its caused a lot of fights with the guys & the girls . boys shouldnt touch whats not theres & girls shouldnt get mad at me because there guys r looking at mine. but i wish i had a name that match my inner person.

I do now. I didn't always. Mine has a very specific meaning too. I was named after a song.
