have i made the right decison
i just finished with a guy that i thought was "the one" only he didnt make much effort, was pretty selfish and when it became clear to him that we were in a relationship he realised that he couldnt commit emotionally...i was unhappy as i wanted more... but now, even though i finished with him, i really miss him and want him to come back to me, but as the man i want
Am I being naive... help!!

you did make the right move couse you need some one that will respect you back. and he didnt deserve you..if i was there i would treat you right

You will get past the emotions when you find someone that wants the same things as you and makes you happy. Stay open so you are approachable. Of course you made the right choice . Why would you want to be with someone that doesn't want you. Personally I feel you can tell a lot about a person by the way they kiss. I can always tell a selfish lover (amongst other things) by the way they kiss. Like the song says " its in his kiss"

You are being perfectly normal. As Chazzy said it's all part of the grieving process. And unforunately, when the break up is like that we grieve for what could have been. This is the advice forum so here is some. LOL Read up on grieving. Let yourself go through the steps. Fighting grief just leaves you with baggage you don't want to carry through life. Mourn and move on, hun. Someone better is waiting on you.

This happens after every breakup. Ok, most.
If you would have gotten him at Wal-Mart, ya could of exchanged him.
