life changes...
i am going back to school in May. i decided that my life needs a major change. i'm going to attempt to go into the IT field, a totally new field for me. it's gonna be a struggle at first, working two jobs and going to school. but i'll make it work. then i won't HAVE to work two jobs.
anyone else going through any life changing experiences?

I'm so happy for you and your decision than talk about myself, for sure....that's exciting!
Going back to school is so cool! Never too old, never too late, classes and school always a real good thing!

Good for you L&H. I too am working on the back to school thing. Need to finish off school for a degree. I have no were to go unless I get that done.

yep, i've been working at the same job for nearly six years, and haven't gotten a pay raise in four. (and i don't foresee it getting any better anytime soon :bang 
i can't quit or i'll get fucked over big time on my child support, so unless i do something drastic (like going to school)? i'm gonna be stuck working there for another 10 years until my oldest turns 18, and i won't have to fork over as much support.

That's really great news hunnie and i know you will enjoy doing it and making a new start will be so rewarding.
I have been thinking of going for a different job which will be coming up in July, it's still in the same place but in a diffreent field. A bit more interesting.

I can relate. I all but lost my company due to the recession. Its hanging on by a string, but I racked up an incredible amount of debt. And now I'm starting another company in a totally different industry. Its exciting, but also scary as hell!

Well done you, good luck with it.
As for life changes, in a strange way yes, have assessed my life, realised the circle surrounding me wasnt all good for me, so got rid of the deadwood.
Now my circle may be smaller but it is more concentrated and special.
Nesting like crazy, want to stay at home and spend time at home, not like me at all!!! lol lol lol
Must be an age thing? lol

Good for you it is worth it. I was a Police Officer for 25 yrs ended up with a health issues went back to school for IT wish I was still a cop but IT is interesting never stop learning keeps the mind fresh

Most of u already know this, since its not exactly new anymore,but i have been added a better route than previous, before the only place i went other than resorts on mainland was the occasional trip to Hawaii, my boss has now added the Bahamas & if & when i may be needed Canada, its a longer day when i make those trips, but i like the challenge, the scenery is unreal, so job wise,, i couldn't be happier. OK, i'm done gloating..for now
