I screwed up the score, damnit! Jammin to tunes, tv's on, on pc... score is Canada - 1, US - 0 at the end of the first, my apologies.

Good game!! As much as I would like to have seen the USA win, both teams were deserving and Canada had a fine team, played a really good game.
Canada hosted a great winter Olympics.
Now...back to NHL....I usually only watch the Blues play though.

I was never into sports in school, not at all competitive but I did play some field hockey and I was a beast at it.
I'm still a fan of curling too...

No Lie...A guy in my high school class sued and made the girls field hockey team. They tried everything from making him wear the plaid skirt to tapping the family jewels during plays to get him to give it up. Caused a lot of controversy. It all originally stemmed from a petition to let a girl play on the football team that same year. The girls thought it was fair for her to be in football, but not at all fair for him to join the field hockey team...

i had the same thing in my school, our foriegn exchange student, ( a japanese boy) had to go thru the state school board to play on the girls volleyball team. & then we had a girl that wanted to be on the wrestling team, & i see there is a girl on the wrestling team this year, & she took 4th in state...lol
