Sorry, but women who use mystery and suggestion, usually don't get what they want. Men are not mind readers, we need instruction manuals for everything, the car, the tv remote, the new kitchen appliances, etc... So I guess it's better and more erotic if women spelled it out...

I don't think all men need telling directly what a woman wants, i know men who react very well to suggestive comments and behaviour and they love it more then being told.
It's so much more sexier and fun

I think it's best to mix both the direct approach with the hint of suggestion. That way you can have the best of both worlds, the directness with the flair of mystery.
