My Valentine.
They say that the simplest gifts make up the most memorable ones, so what did someone give or do for you that you remember most in past Valentine's Days?...
For me it was a night of romance. My girlfriend, at the time, had three kids by a separate marriage. I arranged for her ex-in-laws to take the kids, while she was at work. She came home to an empty, mood-lit, house. There I was, dressed to the nines in a suit. Acting like a butler, I escorted her to the bedroom and ordered her to undress. I told her about the bath that I had drawn for her, topped with champagne, strawberries, scented candles, and mellow music. While she relaxed in the tub, I cooked a filling chicken cordon-bleu dinner for two. Then laid out her clothes for the evening and helped her out of the tub. We enjoyed a kid-free night of conversation and merriment. It didn't actually heat up until later in the evening, when we sat down to watch, " Pretty Woman " her favorite picture and I rubbed her feet. It's kind of a blur, but I do remember not getting past the first fifteen minutes of the movie before clothes were flying about and the scent of sex hung deep in the air about the rooms...

Giving oneself to someone special, is the best gift anyone could give someone.

Re: My Valentine.
This post brought made me think of this song which I love: Elvis Costello
My funny valentine, sweet comic valentine
You make me smile with my heart
Your looks are laughable, unphotographable
But you're my favourite work of art
Is your figure less than Greek ?
Is your mouth a little weak ?
When you open it to speak
Are you smart ?
Don't change a hair for me
Not if you care for me
Stay little valentine, stay
Each day is Valentine's day

When I get happily excited, I get all discombobulated and speechless, I sorry.

Re: My Valentine.
This is My Valentines Day Message to my Damsel:
Will you be my Valentine?
I know that I am yours.
You are like a tossing sea
And I am like your shores.
You are like an endless wave
And I your waiting sand.
And I will wait forever as
You come and smooth my hand.
I will wait forever, yet
You are a part of me.
I hold you in my arms, while you
Come to me endlessly.
Will you be my Valentine?
I know that I am yours.
I love you with a love that yearns
To be your golden shores.

WOW!! I passed out just thinking of this scenario (only joking). So, there are still guys out there that do those kind of things for a lady? Thank you GG for posting this.
