has any one noticed a lack of trees this year?
come to think of it i didn't see many tree lots either this year for Christmas trees and none being threw out after new years and it even seemed dead for new years too, like was the economy that bad?i know we didn't buy one this year

I sure saw allot of artificial ones going through the Walmart check-out lines...maybe the economy has forced a trend of the re-usuable Christmas trees.
I don't put a tree...got cats, and that's just asking for it!

With the many different ranges, ridges and altitudes here in the Allegheny mountains, I really haven't noticed.

We had about the same number of tree stands as previous years.

I don't live in a very populated area, so my sample wouldn't be too accurate, but not many live trees around here. If people do decide on a live tree, there's plenty of them growing on open land, everyone knows someone with woodland acreage to get a tree for nuttin'

we had our share of wild trees too, Even had someone pointing a finger at me for stealing one from dnr land just because i had a blue van...not putting no tree in my custom van lol we use to get a permit to go out in the county forest and cut your own charlie brown type of wild tree if ya put enough on it anything looks good...yepper
oh we have 3 cats too they just love it under the tree
