Papa Johns
The ads where the owner delivers the pizza?
I wonder how he'd feel showing up at someones home and they tell him they'd rather have Pizza Hut or someones elses pizza.

Re: Papa Johns
Once I had ordered dinner including pizza, chicken wings, a salad that arrived over 1.5 hours late (I had called a few times asking if everything was okay with my order and they told me everything was) so when the guy brought the food to my house I told him I wasn't paying for it since the order was way late and the food cold. Within a half hour later the owner of the restaurant rang my doorbell apologizing to me giving me a credit to the full amount of what I ordered along with a all new fresh full order of what I ordered for dinner from his restaurant.

Re: Papa Johns
i had that happen to me once. we ordered pizzas and bread sticks, got told they'd be there within 30 minutes. an hour later we called and asked where our food was. they told us that we had to go pick them up, because their delivery driver had just quit. apparently the driver delivered the wrong pizza to the wrong house, and the customer got mad and chased him around town for 20 minutes, and he got mad because it was not the first time that it had happened. so i told them that if i had to go pick up our pizzas (over an hour late) that i wanted some sort of discount, or maybe one of the pizzas should be free. oh no, we can't do that, because you used a coupon on your order. i went anyway. when i got there, i raised enough hell that i got my pizzas for half price. but by the time i got back home they were cold. so i went to the pizza places website and filed an online compliant and got four free pizzas out of it. (and apparently the police were involved with the driver being chased around town, because when i picked up my pizzas, there was three police officers questioning the driver, the store manager, and a couple of customers.)

The part about the delivery driver being chased around town? That's just strange. I thought I have a bad temper.

Re: Papa Johns
i'm thinking that the chaser was probably stoned...he had the munchies! (which might be why the police were involved...)
