Where are your tunes?
Where do you store, or what do you use to store and collect your tunes?
I don't own a mp3 player or iPod.
I, like so many a decade ago, used to download all my music online and store on my computer, sometimes burning discs for the home or car stereo. Since I went online so many years ago, I didn't buy as many CDs, it was just kind of a pisser buying CDs only to find only one or two songs on the whole album I felt worthy of my hard earned cash.
Downloading became a legal issue, a risk to the computer with all the infected files out there, so mostly I just look up and watch/listen to some tunes while on sites like utube. I have music channels on my cable and sometimes use them, and most definitly in my car where I have maybe 2 preset radio stations.

Re: Where are your tunes?
I mostly listen to the radio in the car/truck/jeep.
Car has Xm but never subscribed. Like searching for channels. Plus there's the cd player and it's fun leaving the radio on one station and when one fades ya get a whole new one.
Seldom listen to music on tv unless it comes with the show. Rarely turn on the stereo unless it's for a movie.

JCOs... u really need to upgrade to the 20th century, i can turn the radio on, & when i get to far away & lose signal, my cd player automatically kicks in. I started buying cds when it became apparent that that was the future, far surpassing the sound of casset tapes. I had around 398 cds, when i finally got a computer with a CD burner on it. now i just record the songs i like, no more skipping over songs that just dont get it for me

Re: Where are your tunes?
I like leaving the station where it is and listening for the next one that shows on the same channel.
It's interesting to see if it's the same, similar or completely different.
The car, truck both have cd players and the jeep will soon. I cann't see the sense of having all those shiney little records all over the vehicle.
Unless I get overbored, I don't even turn the raidio on while driving.

Re: Where are your tunes?
I got a daysleeper/night worker in the house, so I've really cut back on music...don't want to wake him so I mostly listen to music in my car. It also has a CD player besides a radio, but nothing like the one you describe NRG...no automatic nothing when the station fades out.
