29 Years Ago Today
Today is the 29th Anniversary of the senseless murder of John Winston Ono Lennon. I can remember driving home from work in a blizzard when I heard it on the radio. I was in total shock and disbelief. What are your thoughts or memories?

Re: 29 Years Ago Today
i was 10 years old. i remember my brother coming home and freaking out, what's the big deal i though to myself. now, years later, i understand. even though i am not really much of a Beatles fan, i still think he was a major contributor to the musical generations to come.

Re: 29 Years Ago Today
I remember when Nirvana first hit the scene and all these people were saying that Kurt Cobain was the next John Lennon. I was never much of a Nirvana fan, but they definitely were good. But to say that he was the next Lennon? Please. He wasnt a patch on John's ass.
