I don't trust the site nor use it due to some stories I've heard from my friends, and what they've been through.

Re: You can get anything you want
Yikes, I've bought three guitars from there, and just ordered another one today ( a birthday guitar )
I do check things out very closely so I haven't had any problems, if I can find a better deal somewhere else, well thats where I go...
Ask any guitar player "How many guitars do YOU NEED?" and if they'z like me the answer is "Just one more"

Re: You can get anything you want
eBay is alright for some things.....it's changed quite a bit over the past several years, but the same general common sense rules still apply when shopping there....always check the seller's feedback, seller's ratings....careful choice of method of payment, check shipping charges before bidding and buying, and all that.
It's still good for specialized categories, but otherwise the "powersellers" have pretty much flooded the site with way too many listings.

Im down to 6 right now because I sold several others. But you can NEVER have too many guitars. They all have their own unique sound.

Re: You can get anything you want
Funny you should ask, there is guitar rehab facility in Arizona which I've been to twice, plus 12 step programs, group therapy and so on....nothing has worked, nothing....I have three electrics and one acoustic, one bass. I gave my son two guitars and a bass, so I think thats somewhat of an improvement, ya think? I mean I only have 5 now.....thats pretty good....ya think?

See? You get it! I have a Les Paul copy, a Gibson-335 copy, both amazingly nice for the money, my new Paul Reed Smith, and a cheapy Cort bass, I gave my son my gurl a Carvin bass I used with the band for over twenty years. I also gave him a Dean electric and 1956 Martin D-18. I have a very nice acoustic now. The L. Paul and 335 copies and acoustic are all Jay Turser and amazing for little money. The new gurl is a Telecaster Hybrid, I always wanted a tele! And yes they all are different....someone else gets it! I'm not alone! Ahem, talking "shop" like this is a huge step backward in my 12 step program. It's hopeless.
And Chazzy, you are so right as far as E-Bay and power sellers, I too use Amazon quite a bit, for a man to shop and stay home is something sent from a higher power..wow, I am tearing up here.

Re: You can get anything you want
I have a very good friend who buys stuff on ebay often. I wouldn't be using it if it wasn't for his reccommendation.
I've bought truck parts from there simply because they were factory parts and less than what I could buy them for locally.
Good news is that there's now 7 people watching the truck. Hoping someone buys it.

Well I hope it sells too....As with most things e-bay is good and bad, as long as you really watch how things are listed, ask questions from the seller...I have a guitar listed on Craigslist and get some easily spotted scam mail every day, I am going to pull it. I've sold on E-Bay too, so I guess I'll try there. I got a pretty damn good price for my lil sister!! Nahhhhhhhh....but hey good luck to you!

Re: You can get anything you want
I listed both the car and truck on ebay because it's the most cost effective way to reach milions of people.
