Re: Age
its not just guys, its girls too. I guess everything has gone cyber now. Gone are the days when u ask a girl out, went & picked her up at her house, & go to a club or something.

Re: Age
If i see the pictures i think a lot: this can't be true. Remembering how naive i was at that age, i even send one of those youngsters, looking so innocent on the picture, a mail to warn her to watch out for every story told by us horny old guys . Sorry guys

Re: Age
Well, I asked a twenty year-old this same question and he cursed me out. I have mixed feelings because maybe they get shot down if they try to talk to someone. I believe they need the social and physical contact.
However, some of those girls... saying.. " I have the best body you'll ever see" Some, I'm not sure are so innocent?!?!

Re: Age
Just lately here it seems there is a huge amount of younger people showing up which is cool, but all seemingly at once? Nothing at all against younger people, I was younger yesterday! It just seems all of a sudden theres all these young woman willing to do "anything"..rigggght. Also I've seen for a younger woman to be bisexual is "vogue" I don't say that based upon this site, I see it all the time within families I know...and it cracks me up! A woman I dated, there was her daughter 16 bisexual, all her friends, bisexual her cousin and friends..all bisexual, and the list never ends.. hmmmm is there a pattern here? Not to say none are but it seems to be the "thang" these days, lol...Hey every generation has there "thangs"...whatever is cool. ( I was a nerd but saw the hip people and their fads, thangs, watched from afar, lol )
As far as the watch out for the lies and such, that is the very reason my profile says all the jibberish it does! I am poking fun at the lies plus all the "I'm the best, you will never ever be the same after ME!!"...crap! A guy, 18 is Gods gift to woman and how to please them? HELLO??..So my profile intro says yada yada yada & blah blah blah etc because everyones credibility is suspect due to the lies....okay, done!! Now if I can just get off this damn soapbox/makeshift podium without hurting myself I'll be on my way.....yikes.

Re: Age
Not sure if this is the best place to post but it's not worthy of a new one......Even though yesterday was my birthday, it is STILL NOT TOO LATE to get me a gift or somethin...really, it's okay. Or perhaps you've sent something and the mail is just running late, I understand...no really I do.
See, I'm easy to get along with...
( Uhm if you need any ideas, clothing sizes, things needed, besides a drill, stuff....just ask I'd be happy to help)

Why yes my friend I did indeed turn 50 and thanks!
Getting a bit senile here but it's cool cuz that way I always meet new people .
The thang for our time was a somewhat "mixed bag"...so to speak, I've since retired in all categories, now I just hate clothes, lol. Still can get just as arrested if not careful tho!
Hey thanks again...Happy Holidays All..

Re: Age
I think that part of why my generation is on this site is due to the cyber age. I myself am still active with women my own age and I am very much a social person, though my military lifestyle places restrictions on that so i'm here to meet more people. I came not knowing what to expect and I dont aim for any specific age bracket, I myself don't see whats wrong with younger men meeting older women . I dont think of this site as a refuge for the socially inept but as a bastion for those who just want more.
I have also had some bad experiences with the younger members, i've seen plenty of inappropriate language and behavior in the chat rooms but it is not something limited to the younger crowd and there are just as many of them who conduct themselves responsibly.
I understand your reservations but I hope that, as most people I have met on here do, you can over look the age factor at least for a moment or two untill one such as myself proves unworthy. Though it is also possible you just arent interested in younger people, I know most guys tend to shoot from the hip and then make a quick escape. So perhaps it would be more prudent for me to hope that you tolerate our existence and do not begrudge all of us for the actions of a few.
My experiencess on this site so far have been mostly positive, its a great community that I have enjoyed being a part of.

Re: Age
Also I should add that for myself the financial state of the day has put a bit of a damper on my social life. Though this is a recent development and did not preceed my membership here at WN it is still a factor as to why i remain a loyal member of the site.

That reminds me of a quote from an oscar wilde play, "30 is a fine age. England is full of women who, of their own free will, have remained 30 for years."

Re: Age
Grandma always told me, "you are not old, until you reach my age!" and when i would ask her "well, just how old are you, Grandma?" she'd come back with...
"I don't know, i stopped counting at 90!"
she was 98, the last time she told me that!
she died two weeks before her 100th birthday!

Re: Age
I don't feel my age, or maybe I do. When I think back on my 20's and what I thought was "Old"... I'm there. Sometimes I feel bad when I'm hanging out with friends and their kids.. who are now in their 20's..
I wonder if I should hold my tongue a little bit more, cuz' I just let it fly. Are they more comfortable with me because I'm honest or do they just think I am a dirty old fart.
I guess if they didn't like it, I wouldn't be invited back but the young ones seem to be okay with me.
