The 2009 Leonid Meteor Shower
That would be tonight, I think they're saying about 20 to 20 meteors per hours over the Americas.
(4 a.m. EST, 1 a.m. PST). Which I think puts it about 6 am central time?
Something about Mars being very visible too...anyway, I'm usually up early, I'll try to catch some of it.

Ah crap....weather won't allow the meteor shower to be visible. Such a shame, something about all that deep space stuff, the comets, meteors, moonlight and all that's just kinda sexy ya know....

They mentioned about this on the tv here. Waould have been nice to see but was sleeping.
I remember seeing Haleys [I think that was the name] comet a few years ago. Fantastic.!!!

I haven't seen a meteor shower in ages, saw a great fireball meteor a couple of years ago.
Weather is crap this morning...dammit....
