CMA Awards
Did anyone else watch the CMA Awards? I enjoyed the music, artist's, and dialogue. I thought the show was great and flowed wonderfully.

I wish I could have seen it. I got tied up on a phone call for work and before I knew it, the call had lasted so long that the show was almost over. Had I known, I would have recorded it. Do you know who the band was that did "Devil Went Down To Georgia? That was about the only part that I caught because I got put on hold.

The Zac Brown Band performed "Devil Went Down to Georgia". They kicked ass, I thought. I too was on the phone, but it really stood out.

i had to work and didn't have access to a tv. but that's ok, i kinda lost interest in music award shows. i listen to almost any kind of music, don't get me wrong...but i lost a lot of respect for the music award show industry back when Jethro Tull beat Metallica for best HEAVY METAL artist Grammy. 
in my own opinion, award shows are nothing more than a popularity contest. if it were based soley on the talent of the musicians involved, then maybe i'd be more interested. as far as watching the live performances? i'm sure that most of them will be on u tube within a week.

ok, i just watched Zach Brown' performance on the Tube...pretty good, but i thought it was a little too fast paced. i did, however think that they pulled it all together with a great finish to the song, Zach is an awesome guitarist!

I watched it from beginning to end. Enjoyed it all. Too bad Brooks and Dunn are calling it quits. Good trbute to Barbara Mandell also.

I liked it also and I think it was great Taylor Swift won entertainer of the year.
