Danger!!!!
In joined another site this weekend.
I received a call from my bank this morning asking about charges on my card. Seems what places online like to do now is charge you for things you never signed up for. The bank confirmed that this is becomming common practice. You';ll never know unless yoou check you account after joining a site.
BE CAREFUL!!!!

Re: Danger!!!!
CAM Girls are bad!!! Don't ever sign up on their sites!!!
But most personal sites like adult friend finder in style are typically just scam sites. They take the desperation of people wanting to find love, or at least a good fuck for the night, and turn it into something that they can get credit card information from.
Best suggestion would be to cancel the card and have them reissue it under new numbers, as there is nothing stopping them from making more charges to the account.

Re: Danger!!!!
Another one to watch out for are the emails from banks and even the IRS directing you to go to the website link in the email to update your account. Ive seen them from Bank of America, Chase, Nations Bank etc., and because they have the banks logo nailed perfectly, it looks perfectly legit. These have actually been going around for a while.
Now the new ones are saying that they're from PayPal, MySpace and Facebook. Again, all scams. My nephew was chatting with a friend of his on FB when she said that she and her family were in London and had just been robbed and would he please send whatever money he could afford to send. Ultimately, he called her and she was in Syracuse. Someone hi-jacked her password. Same thing with the logos, they look almost like any other emails that you would normally get from any of those sites. Be careful guys, dont fall for this crap.

Isn't that pretty much what they all do?
The AFF family of sites are probably the most honest of those out there.
freensleasy------I've won the Uk lottery, Yahoo lottery, Microsoft Lottery over 40 times each. I've also been a recipient of several million dollars from African banks.
I'm not so silly as to even open these. Get reported and in the spam folder they go.

Re: Danger!!!!
Nah, never follow an email link from any site I have an account with. The standard recommendation is to go to that site (in a seperate browser), log in, and then check your mailbox to see if that same message appears there.
Facebook seems to be now infamous for hacked accounts.

Re: Danger!!!!
So is anyone on any paying sites and can vouch for their security? Having such a list may be good in the future...

Re: Danger!!!!
No list is gonna happen here...
My general rule is if they don't let you do anything for free, they're just trying to scam you. This is the internet, the whole concept it that it's free. I have no problem with membership fees to a site, but if they let you make a free account, you better be able to use it as a free account.

Re: Danger!!!!
that's why i like using those prepaid visa gift cards to sign up for so called "free" websites. if a site won't accept it, i won't join. it's that simple. there's no personal info given out with those, your real name and other info are not required when you buy a Vanilla Visa card.
