I'm tired
I'm tired of working in an industry where company owners, dispatchers, shippers and recivers can do what they wish and blame everything on the driver/contractor. 
Anyone care to buy a Peterbilt?

Yah, those are nicer. No extra garage to rent and a lot lower maintenance.

I didn't even know what a Peterbilt was but thanks to our dear friend Google i do now. That is a beautiful truck. With more trucks like that on the road it would be fun to drive some more.

I don't mind the driving and picking up/delivering. It's mainly the dispatchers that have NO concern about the drivers. Not what they want or need nor thier health.

Ah, it seems there's virtually no employment, field etc. that is free from such treatment. After over thirty years of playing music I know that getting treated as if your not cared about is common, and that's because for the most part you're NOT cared about. It's all about the money, and those paying you are fair weather friends. For most of my time I mainly played clubs, often on the road. Once we got to the fair circuit, playing warm up for the big boys, and girls it got a bit better, but not much. If I'd gotten a dollar for every club owner or promoter I'd got into it with I'd be a wealthy man. More then a few times I lost money because there was no way I was going to be treated so badly by those who think they are one step above you in life, and told them so, thus getting fired.. It's what I call an "All for one, and I'm the One" world out there. I've known so many people that could be no more dedicated to their job, decades of doing great work get kicked to the curb like something you'd scrape from the bottom of your shoe. I began playing music at age 12, and it was for me, it was about music. After so many years of the crap that goes along with playing for money, that love for music was slowly being eroded away..and I couldn't let that "magic" be destroyed. At age 12, the first chord, or song learned to play and sing is the magic I speak of...with such abuse through the years that magic was fading fast...now I mainly play for myself again, back to where it began, and though it has taken a few years, I get that feeling again, it is once again about passion for music.Now nothing to taint or cloud over what really is important to me. Thanks for tha Grandelf.
It's probably time I found something else anyway. Been looking at different companies that have local or intrastate. May even move to a warmer climate. :D
