Who or what gives you that kick in the ass?
You know that boost to wake up your life, so you can jump through some of life's personal hurdles? There are so many awesome humanitarians that have guided me through life. A few of mine are musicians, poets, and most of all my parents.

And sometimes, when you begin to feel something for someone it gives you all those unimaginable goosebumps, feeling invigorated, like a teenager all over again (I shouldn't have said that one, which hasn't happened for years now, lol)

Part of my job is to prevent collisians between ships that pass, and starting up rescue actions if something happens. Knowing you prevented an accident or you were quick to start up a rescue action that saved lives already gives me a huge boost for the days ahead.

You have a very crucial and fullfilling job, lowlands.
I really admire parents like John Walsh, who inspite of their own pain and anger, rise above and devote themselves to the cause, preventing others from suffering as they and their families have. I don't know how they find that kind of strength.
I'm really impressed with the vison and devotion of people like Edgar J. Helms (founder of Goodwill Industries) and William Booth (founder of Salvation Army.
