Re: Famous cars
I almost wet my pants when I see a 57 Chevy, yes a very common affliction. The Red Chevy Nomad that Tim the Tool Man owned on Tooltime was SWEET, there was an episode where he accidently drops a wrecking ball on it while trying to operate a crane, I do believe as the ball began to fall towards that car I first stood up screaming NO!!! Then fell in a heap on the couch, tears streaming down my cheeks for it was flatter then my first girlfriend.....I don't know as I'll ever totally recover.

Ahhh yes I recall what caused the demise of that car..I'd still take that car over the Austin Healey...I saw a kid probably 16 yrs. old pull into a gas station beside me in a 57 Chevy, He put like three bucks worth of gas in it. ( Think his Dad was napping and didn't know or something) I couldn't help myself and said. "Man that's a gorgeous car, why don't you just give it to me, I bet I've got enough cash to fill it up"...I of course got the look I totally deserved.
