speeding
A guy is late for an appointment so he does 100mph down the motorway,
all of a sudden he see's a cop car behind him lights flashing and bekoning him to pull over,
He pulls onto the hard shoulder and the cop strolls up to his window
cop"you do realise sir that you were breaking the speed limit dont you?"
guy "yes officer,im afraid i was"
cop "ill tell you what sir,i retire today and this is my last shift,if you can come up with an excuse i havent heard before ill let you off"
The guy looks up at him "well officer,my wife ran off with a cop 2 weeks ago and i thought he was chasing me trying to bring her back"
cop "have a nice day sir"
