Paranormal TV shows
(I'm stickin' with the Halloween theme here)
Wow, they are poppin' up everywhere now.....
I'm drawn to them, because I love history and legends and these shows are loaded with that. They do go to some of the coolest places.
"Ghost Hunters" on Scy Fy is the original and I think the best. Especially early on. Two plumbers and their crew consisted of one guy afraid of everything (spiders, heights, etc) and another guy with an irrational fear of dolls. The show is entertaining even when they don't find anything paranormal and "debunk" everything, and if they do find something that can't be explained, it's usually pretty impressive.
"Ghost Adventures" on Travel Channel is three ghost hunters that spend the night locked in an alleged haunted area and usually spend the time with their eyes all bugged out going "Whoaaaa doooooode!!!!"
"Paranormal State" on A&E channel, interesting stories but they're not so much into the debunking and disproving like TAPS from Ghost Hunters.
Same with one of the newest "Extreme Paranormal" also on A&E...a little too hokey for me, too much "conjuring"
"Ghost Lab" on Discovery Channel is more on the science side of things, allot of equipment...gotta love the application of a Tesla Coil!
There's another show, can't think of the name of it, but regular folk strap on helmet cams and visit supposedly haunted areas, this show I can't watch....just a bunch of people running around screaming like little girls. All that jumpy face video and screeching...annoys me.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday watching, "Haunting". Recounts of families in their homes and their experiences with a ghost (or ghosts).

I like that one too, Ganja...they really go to some exotic and remote places.

"MonsterQuest"....I don't like much...I mean...burn some film when you actually find something. (They never find anything)
