Re: 1st snow fall
Yup LandH, I wanted to make sure you got to experience this. Under an inch here but sure made the 30 mile drive home miserable. Slippery getting out of the truck too.

Re: 1st snow fall
Raod was just wet but visibility was really bad. Then of course others on the road decided to drive 40 mph and still slow for every intersection.
[no I didn't stay behind, I passed ]

Re: 1st snow fall
I.m glad its just rain up here. We don't get much snow up here the last years. Although its fun to play in it with the kids, i'm more of a summer person.

Ah hell, can't stop the seasons from changing, I'll just embrace them....no snow here yet, not even frost....
It's early even for ya'all isn't it? We don't get our first snow till at least January anymore around here.

Re: 1st snow fall
Well snow fall #2 on its way. Was in Duluth, MN for the first one. Bridge decks were all icy, but that's about it. In Canal Park it was very windy and OOOOOO so cold. Poor Ma was walking around it for about 3 hours until I was done with my convention stuff. But now that we're home again, They are saying an inch +++, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: 1st snow fall
I'd be so jealous, but snow isn't as nice for me without my fireplace that still awaiting some repairs before use.

Re: 1st snow fall
I'm curious, in your neck of the woods (MN, and other surrounding States)... even though you might get bombarded with more snow/cold earlier through your winter months, does that mean unofficially... Spring season with temps/weather arrive earlier?

Yea, but the decks are marked with snow, sleet and ice.
