Celebrity Ailment Endorsements
I know this is one of those threads that wont go anywhere because its just my personal bitch comment. And also, our friends that arent in the US wont know what I'm talking about. I feel bad for people who have any affliction at all, but I'm sick of the constant barrage of tv commercials of celebrities hawking products for their maladies.
Wiford Brimley and his diabetes
Sally Fields and her osteoperosis
Marie Osmond and Valeri Bertinelli with their weight loss
Jamie Lee Curtis and her inablity to have a bowel movement
A couple of years ago there was a super model who was promoting a product to help her with her urinary tract infection and feminine itch. TMI!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, Im done.

Re: Celebrity Ailment Endorsements
I agree with ya Freensleazy, just as bad as the TV commercials for medications where they broadcast the side effects on them. Do they realize there are people trying to eat when they state some of the side effects? (just plug me with a plunger will ya) ROFLMAO!!

Re: Celebrity Ailment Endorsements
Don/t worry Freensleazy, on this side of the ocean its the same annoying habit. Even worse, if you see an American talking dutch in a commercial. Can you imagine Bruce Springsteen telling you in dutch how good tampons work.

NO don't spend time on it. I just made up an example , can't think of a certain celebrity who did, right now . You know what is even worse, on the German tv they synchronize the movies to German. Can you imagine John Wayne talk with a total different voice.

Hubs hates commercials of any kind so much, I swear it affects his blood pressure every commercial break!
Not so much with me, commercials are great for intermission time so you don't miss the regular programming, since I am the princepal shopper in the family, I actually like knowing when there are new products out there and really, sometimes commercials are more entertaining than the program.
