Do those make it easier to burn everything as advertised?

Re: Just one of those stupid things I do....
I'm not much of a cook for sure. I've been thinking about those smooth top stoves, they just seem like they'd be much easier to keep clean.
I usually just keep the unburned burner covers from several sets and then just spray paint them all to match when I need a new set. Cuz it seems I can never find another set to match the one I have.

We only use cast iron, no non-stick chemicals in our food. we were told the flat stoves can be ruined by cast iron, something about it "melting" a ring in the top. Have you used cast iron on yours?

I use to carry a small container of pepper spray for while I walked my dogs, for protection. I've been known to spray a little out to make sure it's working. Only best not to do it while in the car with the AC on......

Re: Just one of those stupid things I do....
We have what I think is called "glass top". Don't know if that's the same as ceramic. I have a cast iron skillet that is the only thing I will cook bacon and eggs in. It works great.
But...my cooking word of warning. We USED to have one of those ceramic cooking stones that are so good for pizza. A tip. Don't take the frozen pizza, set it on the stone, preheat the oven, then set the stone and pizza in the hot oven together. The stone will explode. I speak from experience!
Hope everyone is having fun!!

Pepper spray will not work on other dogs. But it's great when used on people, well most people. Some people, it just makes them angry. On me its just clears out sinus's. We used to spray it in the car vents to play jokes. It was really fun when it's like -30 degrees out and you have drive with the windows down.
