HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
Every year at around this time I would think to myself, this is the year. I would begin to imagine the greatest costume in the world. Ok, I have plenty of time I can do this, it's going to be fucking amazing. Wait until they see me at all the parties.....Fast forward, not enough money, not enough time, things not working out, SHIT its Halloween...no costume. Oh well, I'm still going out. I'll have to deal with all the lame no costume jokes. I used to really love halloween, its a time of madness. I remember one year at a party in the Hilton Hotel, not wanting to hear all the lame no costume jokes, I stole some bed sheets, cut eye holes and was a ghost. Then came all the lame "look at your lame costume", jokes. The advantage was I could fool around on the middle of the dance floor with ladies brave enough to crawl under the sheet with me.
Ah but it has been years since I have gone out to the parties. Now I enjoy passing out candy to all the trick or treaters. I would love to hear what eveyone is doing and wearing this year. I love seeing the women, some of the sexiest outfits ever on that night. HAVE FUN EVERYONE!

Re: Boob Box
QUOTE (October 1, 2009, 20:32)I like the simple and hopefully fun idea..
Put a box over your head, cut two circles in it, touching to put a pair of boobs through. wear a sign that says... FREE MAMMOGRAMS and decorate the box.
I like that idea. So all the ladies can start a line. I'll give the free mammograms.

Re: HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
Halloween can be great fun and usually dress in a few different costumes. There are work appropriate costumes and party costumes. Favorites of mine, a Genie, a White Bunny Rabbit with tail, Wonder Woman, Tiger, Horny Devil , and Elvira, who only dates Virgins. And guess what, I found one.

Re: HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
i once dressed as a pregnant woman (when i was 18) and went to an AL-ANON dance (my sister's ex husband was a recovering alcoholic). there was NO alcohol of any kind there. i had three of my older sisters help me with my hair and make-up. i wore one of their dresses...i almost even shaved my legs...i fooled EVERY one at the dance. the guy serving drinks (soda, coffee, mineral water, etc...) told me that he thought i was a woman, until he heard my voice...that was probably my best costume. i came in 2nd place, i got beat by a white ninja.
the other good one that comes to mind was the year that i dressed up as a basket of dirty laundry.

Re: HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
Okay...I'm pretty insane when it comes to Halloween. I am a director and a tech guy and I also happen to have a 150 year old barn on my property. For the past few years I've done a "haunted barn". Last year I had a cast and crew of a dozen, we had 160 feet of hallways through it, 14 animated setups, two live action setups, a dozen fog machines, 15 strobes, three big sound systems pumping out screams, moans and chains rattling plus hundreds of feet of cobwebs, spiders, bats, etc. Each trip through is tour guided (by me) and I'm wearing an insane farmer get up. The walk back to the barn is along an ancient brick driveway lit by nothing but torches. There's a body hanging from a tree and in the distance you can see the barn pulsing and glowing with fog rolling out of it and screams and moans. A lot of kids just turn around on the path and never make it to the barn!!
This is just for fun...we don't charge anything. When kids come to the front door of the house, they have the option of either taking a piece of candy right there, or going around back to go through the barn. If they SURVIVE the trip through the barn, they get their candy then.
The first year I did it, I kept it fairly tame...didn't want to scare the six year olds. The main comment I got was "that wasn't very scary". Not a challenge you want to be tempting me with! The next year I pulled out all the stops. Last year we had groups of adults going through while they left their kids outside!!
We had 160 people go through it last year and it's starting to go viral. I've had people asking me all summer if I'm doing it again this year. Been out working on it already. Maybe I'll post some pix from this year!!
Lub me some Halloween!!!

Oh, yeah...rauchiest Halloween costume ever? A buddy of mine in college went as the Pope...followed by four pregnant nuns.
I'm going to make sure to look him up in hell! LOL!!!

Oh, we love Halloween around here...and when the date draws nearer, we'll celebrate with all kinds of Halloween topics...like
The spookiest place on earth you would like to spend Halloween night"
Song game...naming songs that are have anything at all relevant to Halloween.
Tell a ghost story.
....and I'm sure many more!

I just go with normal casual clothes and tell everyone that I'm a "psycho-pathic killer". (They look like everyone else!)
