Re: lost on ebay
I spend some time on ebay too once in awhile, but it seems that the powersellers have kinda ruined ebay really...
It was better when it was more of a person to person kinda thing, now it's a bunch of powersellers trying to make their profit from shipping costs.

Re: lost on ebay
Ive looked on ebay but never was able to find what I was looking for at the time. On the other hand, I've had pretty good success with Craigslist

Re: lost on ebay
I like ebay for some things...like my antique cameos...then it's a person to person kind of exchange, I'm just not keen on dealing with powersellers and they seem to dominate the place any more.

Re: lost on ebay
I use to spend allot of time on eBay, it was a bit of a second income for our house, selling vintage and antique collectibles and stuff.
It's just a sign of our economic times right now, people don't collect like they use too. So I've long since moved on to other ways of working at home.
The only thing I shop for is antique carved shell cameos, I can get the same or better deals locally, but don't have the selection like the national/international site offers.
