To live in a world where there is no monetary system and people just have a natural feeling of obligation to the betterment of society. Or you could phrase it as world peace...
No money = minimal crime (no incentive to go against the law) = no homeless and starvation = full health care for all = low stress working environments (no need to rush as long as it gets done) = politicians will not be corrupt (they'll fight for what's right for the right reasons and not for money) = No frivolous lawsuits (hehe, weed out the idiots that don't know that coffee is served hot...)
can't think of any other effects of a decent society...

I would wish for a cure for cancer. It is one of the cruelest diseases that there is.  I see my son going through hell and he never complains.

Spelled "Genie"....a Genie is a fictional/mythical spirit of sorts, that serves the one that summons him. (or her, but Genies in mythical/fictional stories and legends are usually a male)
As legends and stories go, the Genie usually grants 3 wishes (Don't know what piece of literature started this???)
The spelling here of "Jeannie" comes from an old 1960's TV sitcom where the star was a beautiful blond female Genie named Jeannie (I Dream of Jeannie) Jeannie lived in a bottle, it was a take on the old original story of Aladdin's Lamp, the Genie lived in a lamp and whoever possessed the lamp, had the power and servitude of the Genie who resided in it.

The Disney one, is a modified version of an ancient Mid eastern folk tale.

An Irishman found a Genie's bottle and was given three wishes.
His first wish was for a bottle of Guinness and the Genie was VERY good and told him not only was it a bottle of Guinness but that it would never empty.
The Irishman didn't believe the Genie and filled a large glass from the bottle and sure enough the bottle refilled itself.
"What would you like for your other wishes?" asked the Genie and the Irishman replied:
"I'll have another two of these bottles".

First off...How the hell do you fit a Genie in a bottle in the first place? Imagine, being trapped in the bottle for decades, and someone lets you out finally. I don't think your first words would be, "Your wish is my command!" No definitely not...I know I would have a few choice words for the butt-head who stuffed me in there in the first place!...
