I love the internet because....
....ya never know what you'll run across....I was looking up google images of M.C Escher works...and found a recreation of his "Relativity" done entirely in legos...wow...who does this stuff anyway?
Ah yeah, I do love the internet, ya think you're researching, working, and dammit...a little nugget of nonesense and fun just pops right up...

We found a sand painting video on u tube. That was really neat. I can't remember what we were actually looking for... Of course the other side of this would be, I find things I'm not looking for and never remember to look for the things I need until days later!! LOL!

With everything I use it for, I don't know how I got along without it before. I never use a traditional phone book to find a number. If my caller ID shows a number I'm unfamiliar with, I can goggle the number to see who it is before I answer. No need for a newspaper, I get the news I need online. I can browse all of the store ads. I can print sheet music that would other wise cost a fortune. Ive found music videos that I'd forgotten about. Ive played with some incredible musicians via online advertising. One day I needed some fast cash and decided to sell one of my guitars. I posted an ad at 1 in the afternoon and it was sold and paid for by 7pm, the same day. I've met ALOT of new friends and caught up with some old ones that I hadn't talked to in years. I planned a fund raiser for a family member who was in a motorcycle accident. Posted it on FB, had 200 responses in less than 24 hours. We had the benefit 10 days later and raised $5000. Hell, if I were snail mailing invitations, it would have taken me longer than 10 days just to find everyone's addresses!
I'm guessing this whole internet thing might just work out!

It is like a book. It opens up adventures and other worlds. You can communicate with family and friends,(if they cooperate). Make new friends , learn anything and everything. It can be soothing. As long as you don't become impersonable and forget to socialize and remain close to friends.

i love the internet because it gives me the chance to watch all of my favorite music videos from the 80's, now that MTV has gone to a NON-music format, pretty much. and when i was younger, and alot of those bands were popular, i didn't have MTV, so i didn't get to see alot of them.

I love it....I have this growing "favorites" folder I've labled "Fun Stupid Stuff".....I put in any new sites I've found that are worth checking back in once in awhile.
When I've done all my computer "chores" and must do's, got a little extra time, I go for that folder, do some laughing before shuttin' down.
