The best is the one I've had since '84, running my store ,selling adult toys LOL what could be better
Worst was climbing telephone poles taking down old wires, half the poles would fall when I cut the wire, had to ride them to the ground

Re: Labor Day Game Thread 2
I'm not sure there is such a thing as a "best job"
I've had many factory jobs which I disliked because of the overly stiff structure. I had liked my current occupation, but have gotten to the point of disliking it as well. Nothing but a bore and too many expenses.

Best job: Working in the store. I love selling (and testing) adult toys!
Worst job: truck driver. It was boring and lonely and way to stressful. Besides I like bubble baths, how do you get a bubble bath in a truck stop?

Re: Labor Day Game Thread 2
Ya know, I've kinda enjoyed most of my jobs, jobs like waitress, bartender, factory laborer and foreman, office receptionist, medical assistant, all kinds of jobs....but there was this one job making pizzas on weekends in a small kitchen....that job I can honestly say I did not like one bit!(Okay, I hated that job!)

Worst one was when i had to clean out a burned out store.
Best one was working on a yacht club during summer season.

Re: Labor Day Game Thread 2
I always enjoyed working beginning at age fourteen. Multiple jobs Like Chazzy, and many others. Starting with babysitting, janitor at our high school, in an orange grove, waitress, hostess, bartender. Sold wedding gowns, United States Post Office clerk, a nail tech for many years. I always had fun.
Then the corporate job came and you could hear the axe fall. I don't even know if I can explain. Just a nightmare. The work was fine but the volume enormous. People were judgemental and catty. Considering the work being done, there was never any help only threats. My last supervisor was fantastic, she treated me fairly and status reviews were 100%.

Re: Labor Day Game Thread 2
i worked on my neighbors mink farm for about 2 weeks when i was 16. that job sucked...especially unloading the feed truck, frozen turkey guts, in heavy, overstuffed cardboard boxes, that didn't have any sort of top on them, it was hot out side, and by the time they went from the refrigerated truck in to the freezer on the farm, i was covered in turkey guts, EWWWW!!!!
i kinda like where i'm at now (both places) cooking is what i do best, and working in a deli can be fun!
