T.V. Commercials
Can you think of any commercials from the past up to now that you like and/or dislike?

Re: T.V. Commercials
Ah hell, I was just thinking of bumping up lizonya's thread on commercials, I think of Liz now everytime I see a commercial I like. (Think of you both so often Liz and Kelly)
I love the Ally Bank commercials, where they kinda mess with the little kid's heads....(the commercials are on utube under ally bank commercial)
The pony one is pretty good, but the little boy and the red truck is my favorite. Kinda cruel in a way maybe, but dam that's funny.

Re: T.V. Commercials
there are a couple of new Free Credit Report (can't type the rest) commercials with that guy singing. (actually, he's not really singing, he's lip syncing, he's from Canada and can't speak a word of English!)

Re: T.V. Commercials
I can no longer stand ANY Geico commercial that contains a caveman. It ceased long ago to be funny in any way.
I do, however, like the Progressive commercials with Flo. She's pretty cool.

Re: T.V. Commercials
I think Flo is a friggin riot. The one that really grinds my gears lately is the Dell commercial that starts out with the song "Lollipop, Lollipop". Maybe because its on 10 times an hour.

Eric Violette, he is a French speaking Canadian, but speaks fluent English. He's also a musician but I gather, in the Free Credit commercials, he's all actor.
I adore the E-trade baby ads....shankapotomus!Ha!!!!

Re: T.V. Commercials
I like racing so I do like then commercials they have.
The one I am thinking of is Carl Edwards and Mark Martin and the crownd is yealling flip Carl. And Mark Martin has a walkie talkie and Syas Holio your on and he does hand springs and goes behind a stack of tires and then Mark Martin comes out like it was him doing the flips. Carl Says Crazy old man. It noted that Carl ask Mark if it was ok to say that before he did the commercial. Happy day All

Re: T.V. Commercials
These have just come to mind and not sure how specific.
I dislike any and all female menses commercials. The one with the lady dressed in a green suit saying, " I brought you a gift. Are you sure you're protected". Any to do with cramps. The ones the women are trying to jump, cram, or lie down on the bed to zip there pants due to bloating.
The "Yaz" commercial that says, " Have you heard about....". Yes, I heard of a birth control 20 years ago that I take 4 times a year and have no period at all. Therefore, no mood swings, cramping, bloating, or cycle. Yeah!!!!!
The attorney commercials. UGH!!!!!!!! " Do you know your rights, do you need an attorney... Call.... " (We have our local celebrity attorneys here).

Re: T.V. Commercials
Has anyone noticed that all of those "Cash For Gold" commercials seem to have disappeared? At least in the market I live in, they have. I dont think Ive seen one since Christmas. But for some reason, JG Wentworth seems to have come back with a vengance!

Re: T.V. Commercials
We still have the gold commercials. I can't stand the structured settlement commercials. Someone screams "I want it and I want it now!!!" I use to have to set those up, they were required by the state. They are for the individuals protection. Two years later and no money, then what?
"Ask Gary", another atty. "This is Roz here, and if you have an accident, just ask Gary... I did".
I don't like the bump commercials, those hair bands you place on the back of your head to give your hair height. I don't want to look like everyone else or copy any fad.

Re: T.V. Commercials
I think most of the commercial now are better than most of the programs. Not to mention you get a 10 minute show in a half hour.---lol
I like watching tvland and rtv. They both run the commercials that were used in the original airing of the programs. :D
Reallly cann't stand the "ambulance chaser" ads. It's one thing if a company lied about the product. It's another to sue because you aren't smart enough to use it as intended.

"Sorry Billy... Happy Pony is on. And I'm not missing Happy Pony..."
The Grandmother in that one is classic "...never mind."
And, btw, the Free Credit Report commercials were pretty obnoxious... until I noticed Eric's grin. Now I'm hooked. Oh, man, he's HOT!
Hey, ladies, wanna come to RenFest with me? LOL

Re: T.V. Commercials
Has anyone else seen the new Stanley Steemer commercial? It shows a rolled up carpet at the curb for trash pickup. A Stanley Steemer van shows up and the guy gets out, looks at the carpet and says "I could have saved this one". Then they do the voice over sales pitch and the final visual is the technician kneeling with his head on the carpet, crying and hitting it saying "Why? Why? Why?" Maybe it's just my morbid sense of humor, but this just cracked my ass up!
