Moving... (boo! and yay! at the same time)
Those of you that have been following the drama of my life...
I'm going to be moving shortly, most likely to Hawaii! My financial situation's gotten pretty bad, and my parents are being difficult about giving me a helping hand. I'm still waiting for their decision on if they're going to help me, but its about 90% certain that if they do they're going to force me to move in with them, which they live in Hawaii so it's not all bad.
I'm sure I'm gonna be much more popular now with the ladies that are willing to travel... *wink wink*
I also have a bit of furniture and stuff to get rid of that I'm not sure how. I don't really have the time to be listing this all on craigs list and dealing with people trying to scam me (which has happened every time I've used those kind of sites). OF course, getting rid of the stuff I own depends on if something can be worked out with my parents where I wont have to move long distance. Worst case scenario, I can just sell the condo as furnished, but it wont really affect its value.
Anyways, I'll keep posting here with updated news and such. All this typing out here is helping me to cope with all that's happening.

Best if luck to ya, Man! Moving across town sucked bad enough for me. I cant imagine moving across the entire US and the Pacific!

I'm doing my best to pack up in a way that I'm only going to ship 2-3 boxes. The rest of the stuff I'm either going to store somewhere, or give away/sell off. The main debate is what I'm going to do with my computer...

Once had to get rid of some stuff to, worth about 100 dollars, put it on Internet for 70 and added : no negotiations over the price. Sold it the other night. Keep it cheap, you still earn a few bucks and get rid of it.
Good luck on Hawaii. Wanne trade places?????

idk, I might wanna trade places. If you've got a job earning enough to be able to move out there without being in debt, hell yea! But back to being serious...
Good News today! I have a job interview on Wed for a job that is just barely below my current budget, so if I tighten things up a bit while selling the condo with this job I should be good! Woohoo! *crosses fingers* If I get this job and can show that I've reduced my budget enough, my parents will likely help me out and not make me move. Yay!
(No celebrating early, its bad luck!)

Woot! I got the job! Got the call yesterday, just haven't had time to log in until now. Its through a temp agency (temp to hire kinda thing) so here's hoping it works out. They're still negotiating the rate I'll be getting paid, but obviously the more they can get me the more money they get so its a good team fighting for me!
Either today or Monday, I'll be going down for the paperwork and those controversial drug tests (although this is a job you don't want to be doing drunk or high so I actually approve of this one!).
The basic gist of the job is that they do the testing for products, mostly toys, so I'll be dissolving the products in acid for the tests. Since some of the products are glass, there's going to be the strongest acid used just to break it down. I can't wait to get started!

EEEE!!! Good deal, so happy you got the job and it sounds like a pretty cool one too. There is a toy testing job in my area, everyone wants it, you climb up stairs to a catwalk kind of thing, and throw the toys down till they break(recording how many throws till it breaks, what parts specifically break)...seriously...that is the job.
You're a good man and deserve good things in your life, here's to ya!

I just hope that it goes permanent because they get all busy, which they're expecting. Sorry I haven't been on in a little while, been real busy in the condo finishing up the last minute cleaning. The condo has been on the market since Friday, so not even being up for a week, it's already been shown twice, and is being shown twice more today. Hopefully I'll be getting a couple offers in the next week and can play them off each other until it sells.
Can't stay on for long, gotta vacate the property soon for one of the showings this morning...
Oh, and I start the job today
