setting chat
When i have a private talk to someone i hate that sound every time the other person sends a message. In the setting part i turn off the sound for the private messages. The problem is that every-time i come back to the chatbox i have to turn off that horrible sound again. Is there a place where i can turn it off and it will stay off.

sadly no. The chat software isn't fully integrated into the site. To fully integrate the software, each profile's memory allotment would have to be increased, a "chat room settings" section would have to be added in (and there's really a lot of settings).
It would be useful to integrate the software fully into the site, but I think solving the unusual chat room blackout would be more beneficial at this time.
