Re: Michael Jackson
i saw that too, but i haven't heard any "official" announcement. i heard that he was not breathing, and was "technically" dead, but they wouldn't say wether or not they did any revival attempts.

Re: Michael Jackson
Paramedics where call to the Bel Air mansion he was renting around 12:30pm today, Cali time. They said he was in full arrest and started CPR and transported him the hospital. He was pronounced at the hospital. It was first broke by the LA Times, then Assoc Press, and finally by NBC.

Re: Michael Jackson
He was so in debt though, I just hope his children will be alright...I just hope they have been alright...it's hard to imagine being raised by him, always wearing the weird masks and veils and all that.

Alright, enough already!! I'm sick of hearing about how great he was. Honstly though......he was good back in the early '80's but his act and drama got old real fast.
He was a walking freak show as time went on.....a joke. Too bad too!!!! jmo

Re: Michael Jackson
Apparently he went out in a method similar to how we lost our king, Elvis.
For the next few decades, there will be reports of little boys all across the country claiming sightings of Micheal Jackson...

Your comments are uncalled for (funny as hell) and you should be ashamed!! they better not cremate him, or the whole city of L.A. might need to evacuate due to the toxic smoke...oh wait, they already did the burning thing during the famous "PEPSI" commercial shoot! i hope they plant him far enough under ground so that "BEN" can't dig him up....
I'M SORRY...

To me, it's not that his was "great", I was never a fan, especially because of the scandals and accusations that made him scarey, but....now he's dead, and it goes against the way I was raised to speak ill of the dead, so I try not to say much at all about him now...I'm sure allot have this same belief, when someone dies, they are not ours to judge anymore so you don't speak ill of dead and you try to only speak of their positive accomplishments....it's just kind of a "social and spiritual" courtesy thing.

Re: Michael Jackson
Oh now, nobody is getting kicked off the site.
I don't care if you love him or hate him, frankly. Hating or loving Micheal Jackson is in no way even close to violating any rules here, for crying out loud.
Of course the media is handling it the way they are, he was not convicted of anything, he settled once, was aquitted once, so they cannot say "Yeah, a dead pedohpile" There would be lawsuits and since he was never convicted, it would not be ethical.
I can't stand to watch or listen to a news broadcast, this oversaturation on major topics drives me to the internet where I can click and read as much as I want about whatever, or avoid a topic all together. I'll probably check back in when the autopsy report is released.
I also do not like Tyson, and the only thing about other celebs and rehab is that they never drive drunk again.

I don't know about anybody else here but I was tired of the Michael Jackson, 24/7 treatment this story is receiving......and subjecting upon me. Reminds me of the Anna Nicole Smith death story a few years ago, like she was some important world figure or something.
As for Jackson.......for shit sake, that freak show has moved on to the ultimate Thriller Video ....leave the man be and please stop beatin' me over the head with his tragic life story, day in and day out, 24/7!!!!! The news oulets are behaving like the editorial staff of some sleazy, checkout counter tabloid!! Enough already.

Ah, I was kinda wondering about how others in other parts of the world felt about him!
I do have to gently warn you, there are those in the US that just hate him.
I do have to gently warn those that do hate Micheal Jackson, that's fine, just don't attack another member because they have an opposite opinion than yours please?

Re: Michael Jackson
We may discuss those things, but we don't discuss them here, danish...oh yeah, we hear, we know, we discuss...we have CNN and the internet.
It would cause riffs between members, too much controversy in the forums causes too much fighting amoung the members, then we would have to start locking, editing, deleting, and policing the forums way too much and we don't want to do that. This is an adult personals community, not an editorial debate site so we try to keep it toned down.

It is because we do know, and feel so passionate about these things all over the world that we don't discuss them here...too passionate.
I have discussed such things by private message.

Re: Michael Jackson
Not being much of a Michael Jackson fan, I've never owned any of his music. My sister had 1 45rpm single by him back when we were kids. On the flip side was a song called "Corner of the Sky" I loved the song. As MJ got older (and weirder), this song seemed to sum up his life or at least explain some of the "weirdness"
EVERYTHING HAS ITS SEASON
EVERYTHING HAS ITS TIME
SHOW ME A REASON
AND I'LL SOON SHOW YOU A RHYME
CAT'S SIT ON THE WINDOW SILL
CHILDREN SIT IN THE SNOW
WHY DO I FEEL I DON'T FIT IN
ANYWHERE I GO
(CHORUS)
RIVERS BELONG WHERE THEY CAN RAMBLE
EAGLES BELONG WHERE THEY CAN FLY
I'VE GOT TO BE WHERE MY SPIRIT CAN RUN FREE
GOTTA FIND MY CORNER, OOH OF THE SKY
EVERY MAN HIS DAYDREAM
EVERYMAN HAS HIS GOAL
PEOPLE LIKE THE WAY DREAMS HAVE OF
STICKING TO THE SOUL
THUNDER CLOUDS HAVE THEIR LIGHTNING
NIGHTINGALES HAVE THEIR SONG
AND DON'T YOU SEE I WANT MY LIFE
TO BE SOMETHING MORE THAN LONG, YEAH
(CHORUS)
(SO MANY MEN SEEM DESTINED)
(TO SETTLE FOR SOMETHING SMALL)
BUT I, I WON'T REST
'TIL I KNOW I HAVE IT ALL
SO DON'T ASK WHERE I'M GOING
JUST LISTEN WHEN I'M GONE
(FAR AWAY YOU'LL HEAR ME SINGING)
SOFTLY TO THE DAWN
OH, RIVERS BELONG WHERE THEY CAN RAMBLE,
OH, EAGLES BELONG WHERE THEY CAN FLY
I'VE GOT TO BE WHERE MY SPIRIT CAN RUN FREE, YEAH
GOTTA FIND MY CORNER, OOH OF THE SKY, YEAH (OF THE SKY, YEAH)
RIVERS BELONG WHERE THEY CAN RAMBLE
OH, EAGLES BELONG WHERE THEY CAN FLY (HIGH)
OH, I'VE GOT TO BE WHERE MY SPIRIT CAN RUN FREE
GOTTA FIND MY CORNER
GOTTA FIND MY CORNER, YES I DO
GOTTA FIND MY CORNER
GOTTA FIND MY CORNER OF THE SKY, SKY
GOTTA FIND MY CORNER OF THE SKY, SKY

Re: Michael Jackson
It looks like MJ is not gonna be buried anytime soon! It seems family members are non too happy with the results of the official autopsy and have demanded a private autopsy be performed so they can get the "cause of death" more to their liking.
Also, all that freakin' money and the MJ's will or lack there of, is a bone of contention. Anytime money is involved, you know everybody wants a piece so no way the family will back off and let the man rest in piece! jmo
