DTV
It's that time because some group of fools decided it.
I've found on an antenna, that the signal breaks into little rectangles instead of just growing "snow". That's really fun to watch.

It's his igloo that he lives in. Signal gets stuck in the ice cubes. (pun intended)

Re: DTV
Got a brother in law who still hasn't made the switch over, he lives too far out to get the whole DSL package deal with the TV/phone/internet like we have... We'll have to check on him this weekend and see if he has it all ironed out yet.

Re: DTV
The reception I was refering to is in the truck. I have cable at home. I do like the better sound, but the signal interfearance is most annoying. I'm actually rather amazed that the signal is as good as it is concidering the implication that ya need a different antenna from analog.

Re: DTV
There are some areas here that still can't get a digital signal because the mountains are in the way. And, I am one of those people Chazzy mentioned... until I moved in with Hard, I didn't have TV. I can think of a few things that I enjoy way more the TV!

When ya concider the ads on tv are more interesting than the "programs", that's a good alternative.

It means I don't have to work to pay for something I shouldn't have bought.

Re: DTV
We have two of those crappy converter boxes. When I scanned them in the morning we had all the local channels and PBS plus a few more however after noon we had lost most of them. Even rescanning skips right over um. Is this the end for broadcast tv?
