Open or Closed?
With all the problems in the world today......job loss, housing values plummeting, family life disrupted, war, terrorism and global warming, I want to know if when you are about to use the facilities at home, do you shut the door or leave it open.....assuming you are alone or with your mate.
I personally leave the door wide open when I am about to tinkle but if a more aggressive emptying of my nether region is called for, I shut that door tight. Hey, I do have some class.....not much but I do have some! When I shut the door, my wife will crank up the TV audio......to cover the "birthing" sounds I sometimes am accused of making!
So what type of bathroom decorum do you use at home?

What do you do sit up all night and think of this stuff?
Birthing sounds...

Re: Open or Closed?
(sigh) it must be a manthing, that all biological functions should be a huge deal....all the belching, farting, and other "bathroom" things need to be exagerated, discussed and comdedic routines and monologues be built around them.
Meanwhile, women accept such normal things, we let them pass as quietly and quickly as possible with a sweet small smile, an "excuse me" and consider them a tiny interruption of life, not a major core of it.
Which explains exactly how it goes in this household. The hubs, goes in, door open, will often take the phone in, ....good gawd, it's a bathroom...not an office, not a lounge...how can one lounge about in there...get in there, shut the door, quietly take care of the business the room is designed for and get out, don't forget to use the Glade and wash your hands...

Birthing sounds...
Well I may have been guilty of possibly spending an inordinate amount of time, dwelling on the unimportant things in life but this subject is not one of those!

Re: Open or Closed?
I don't even have a door on my bathroom...
(The designers of my condo thought it would be nice to have the door to the Master Bathroom from the Master Bedroom open so that it covers up the mirror and sink while open, so I took the damn thing out and up a curtain that goes to the floor up instead)

If you are alone in the condo, who freakin' cares, right? If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it.............

Re: Open or Closed?
I sometimes bring the newspaper or a magazine in with me... why do you think it's also call the library. Door wide open of course unless the wife is around.
Studies show that the longer you stay in there hoping to get one last push, your chances of having your pelvic floor drop are increased.
Tinkle, tinkle little piss, how I wonder why I missed.
