Do you Tweet?
I've been hearing quite alot about Twitter lately. With so many 'social networking websites' on the Internet, which sites do you prefer and use; Tweeter, Facebook, MySpace, MEETin, myyearbook, Tagged, Tribe, Twitter, Wassabi, Bebo, and those are just a few of the General sites.
I think I'm going to look into some of these, I might just do some Tweet, tweets! lol

I have an account for my store but not much interest. It reminds me of 'those' people walking down a street talking to themselves loud enough so the whole world can hear but there isn't anybody around them...

I have tried a few of them, but usually don't end up checking them very often. I find that I don't really talk to people that much and get bored pretty quickly. Hopefully I won't end up doing that to this place as well.

Ah shoot tank, I hope you don't get bored either, sometimes I do have to say I get bored here in GD, and I'll spend allot of times browsing tons of sites all over the net for stories, articles, anything that I can come back here and start as a new topics to perk it up a bit...eh, yep...sometimes my efforts fail a bit...
But I sure try hard.
I really encourage ya'all to share your thoughts and interests too...

me too, reconnected with some highschool buddies that never made any of the reunions. and it keeps me in touch with my brother and his wife in Nebraska.

I agree with you guys on this. Face book not only keeps me in touch with my daughter in Colorado, but it also put me back in touch with some old friends that I havent seen in years. I checked Twitter out when I first heard of it, but it seems kinda pointless to me

One more item to keep in touch with your home town, go to google maps en start the street view. You can see how it still looks

Facebook for me. Lets me track and keep in touch with family and friends, set up nights out with friends and work mates and generally vent at the world when I have a bad day.
Have even made some new friends on there that I found here.

I can't imagine that I'd ever have enough to say to use twitter, but I do use facebook to keep friends updated on special events going on at the store.

I tried twitter, but it said that I was stalking 17 people and 13 people were stalking me. So am I the Stalker or the Stalkee?...

I was at a conference recently & the only thing people were talking about was: "Did you read what so & so just 'Tweeted' about?"
All day long was like a broken conversation - over nothing!!!

Ewwww! Now I've heard lately twitter is talking about also starting a reality show, from what I read will pretty much promote stalking, I'm even more anti-twitter now...
I really understand the need for socializing, especially for those who are isolated in one way or another..it is very important, but the ethics of some of these sites!
(Note...I've read and heard a few stories on all this lately, and ya know...I can't say it's true just cuz I read it or heard it...)

yup, read that one myself...the premise is that they will run spots on celebrities, giving info on what they are doing, where they are...etc. SHEESH, with the way the PAPARAZZI stalks them, and now the FANS can too???
